Versatility Ranch Horse Association
Why Versatility Ranch Horse you ask?
Because it is the most fun you can have on a horse!
You will be welcomed, educated, challenged, exhilarated and exhausted but most of all you will meet the most fun group of horsemanship enthusiasts around and if you don’t already know it, you will soon find out… if there is a cow involved there is FUN to be had.
Western States Versatility Ranch Horse Association is dedicated to preserving the versatility of the American ranch horse and to promoting the appreciation of the western ranching culture and heritage by providing educational horsemanship opportunities across the west. The association will provide weekend clinics and competitions, produce and promote regional and year-end championship competitions, as well as track event points and championship points for year-end division high point and special achievement awards. In addition, Western States’ goals are to be able to align with similar organizations in the future for joint events in hopes of developing a bigger audience to share our appreciation for the Versatility Ranch Horse and perhaps earn points in multiple organizations at one event.
Our primary objective will always be fun and education. WSVRHA is designed to encourage riders of ALL skill levels from the most novice to the most competitive open rider. Bring the horse you have, come for the day or the weekend and see what the fun is all about!
All of the events on our calendar are NRSHA Championship qualifying shows.
The popularity of the Ranch Horse is booming across the country and our association feels extremely privileged to link arms with other associations that are dedicated to preserving the history, culture and versatility of the American ranch horse.
We strongly support the mission of developing a horse that can handle livestock as the primary goal of our alliance. We are very optimistic about the future of versatility ranch and stock horse industry, and we are eager to see what is next!”
