EHV-1 Protocols
In an effort to maintain the health and safety of our horses, the GSVRHA Cinch Up Show has added the following safety protocols:
- Pens will be set up in such a way as to minimize “strange” horses from touching noses. We will attempt to separate barns, groups and individuals where possible.
Please email CowboyTony@CinchUpPro.com to notify us of which horses are in your group. - If you wish to switch to an outdoor pen, please contact CowboyTony@CinchUpPro.com by Monday, March 14.
- All competitors should take their horse’s temperature before leaving their home barn and be prepared to take it immediately upon arrival at the show and morning and night thereafter.
If horses show a temperature of 101.5 they should not be on the grounds. - Other safety measures are encouraged:
- No nose to nose contact
- Maintain distance from horses not from your barn
- No shared buckets
- Refrain from putting the end of the hose in any bucket or waterer
Thank you,
Tony Agredano
